[student job] – UW FYP Student Coordinator

First Year Programs is currently seeking applicants for the position of Student Coordinator.

The Student Coordinator in the Office of First Year Programs (FYP) functions administratively and programmatically in support of all transitional programs for which the office is responsible.  These programs include Advising and Orientation, Freshman/Transfer Interest Groups, Dawg Daze, Transfer and Commuter Programs, and Husky Adventures.  This is a position of significant responsibility, open to all currently registered UW undergraduate students, who are available to work in a year-round capacity.

Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13th 2011 for priority consideration.  The selection process will incorporate an initial review of applications; a limited number of candidates will be invited for an interview with First Year Programs staff members.  The preferred start date for this position is on or before May 2nd, 2011.
