Resources to Help You Look for an Internship!
One of the most frequently asked questions that students ask about is where to get started in an internship search. “Where do I go to find an internship?" "Which internship is best for me?" "How do I apply for internship?" Here are some resources to help you get started:
- UW Career Center Internship Guide
- UW Husky Jobs (Job and Internship Database)
- UW College of the Environment Career Blog (click on ‘internship’ tag)
- UW Program on the Environment Blog (click on ‘internship’ tag)
- Take a look at different environmentally related private sector, non-profit and government agency websites to find internships.
- Talk to friends, classmates, neighbors, professors – sometimes they may have heard about an opportunity.
If you would like to get credit for your internship (or required to get credit), please come see Joe or Stanley for an internship form. Generally, students should get this set up before the first week of the quarter in which you wish to earn credit.
Happy internship searching!
