People For Puget Sound: Environmental Media Internship

Community Outreach Intern
People For Puget Sound is recruiting a passionate, high-energy community outreach intern to support the Education & Outreach Manager.

DATES: January – June 2012
HOURS: 12-16 hours per week
LOCATION: Downtown Seattle

TASKS:

• Develop a targeted online presence
• Create and update content for the PFPS website consistently
• Write blog articles about current policy issues
• Assist in organizing community outreach events/education projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Familiarity with web content management software (plone, html etc.)
• Experience with image editing software
• Proven ability to work independently
• Excellent attention to detail
