[internship] State Capacity Building Intern

The League of Conservation Voters is seeking an intern!

                                        

The State Capacity Building Intern works with the State Capacity Building Division (SCB) of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) to implement the capacity building programs for states with specific emphasis on: assisting the Director of Collaborative Fundraising, data entry for Salesforce online database, maintaining and adding content to the SCB website, and assisting with administrative functions of the Seattle office.

DURATION: 6-12 months
HOURS:
40 per week
PAY:
$9.04 per hour
LOCATION: Seattle, WA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Director of Collaborative Fundraising
  • Track/manage donor lists for joint visits
  • Track results of fundraising efforts
  • Manage state and national list comparison purposes
  • Support sharing of mail and email lists for fundraising
  • Donor re-solicitation and cultivation coordination
  • Manage monthly development calls with states
  • Send acknowledgement letters and file
  • Assist with special event activities
  • Maintain SCB website and much more!

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School Diploma required
  • Previous office experience preferred (familiarity with Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
  • Good written and oral skills
  • Strong database background
  • Good with numbers
  • Attentive to detail
  • Relationship building skills
  • Commitment to environmental protection and mission of LCV
