Washboard.org is hosting a video scholarship contest for $3,000 open to all students.

You are invited to create an original video (no longer than 60 seconds) that answers the question, Why are scholarships important to you?All high school seniors and college students in Washington state who will enroll in college at least part-time beginning in Fall 2012 are eligible to apply. 

Entries must be submitted at www.thewashboardcontest.org by Jan. 31st at 11:59pm; FAQs, the submission form, video tips, and the official rules may all be found on the page.
