The Transit Systems and Traffic Engineering group within King County Metro Transit is offering an internship opportunity for an Undergraduate student. Student learning objectives will be met through assisting with the planning and implementation of transit-oriented traffic engineering projects on transit corridors throughout King County. The intern will participate in project elements that will include development of conceptual plans for localized transit improvements, conducting traffic studies and analyses, conducting “before and after” field observations of transit and traffic operation, and preparation of charts, graphics, and transportation reports.

The internship will start as soon as possible, and will end no earlier than the end of the summer, 2014. We will only consider candidates who can work full-time (40 hours/week) in the summer of 2014.
Salary: $13.17-$15.17 hourly
Location: King Street Center – 201 S Jackson St, Seattle
