The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) is the world’s largest non-profit, professional association of nearly 40,000 members devoted to the dynamic and multi-disciplinary field of science that deals with the brain and nervous system.
SfN is seeking a talented Science Writer with two (2) years of experience to research and produce content highlighting the value of neuroscience research and its impact for a general audience. The Science Writer will work to enhance content across publication platforms, including BrainFacts.org, press releases, and social media. Candidates should have excellent research and writing skills, a strong portfolio of science writing clips, good proofreading skills, and a demonstrated interest in communicating about scientific research to lay audiences. This is ideal for a candidate who has a passion for science and sharing knowledge.
