For those not familiar with FHL: the College of the Environment maintains a full facility about a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal at Friday Harbor. There is not only an opportunity to participate in world-class research, but also a change to take a full quarter of marine-science related courses.

It’s common for Envir. Studies majors to look closer at Autumn quarter. There are a lot of course options which count for our major requirements, and you can even participate in an Environmental Writing class up there (ENGL 365).
