UW Green Futures Lab Hiring!

Green Futures Lab: Open Summer and Fall Positions!

The UW Green Futures Lab (GFL) has several positions, both compensated
and volunteer, related to the Biodiversity Green Wall and Water
Harvesting project that is located in the SE corner of Gould Hall.

Qualified students interested in these positions should submit
applications to the Green Futures Lab, Gould 242, by next Thursday,
June 12, 5pm.

Descriptions for compensated positions and application requirements
are on the attached pdf.  The positions include:
1) Biodiversity Green Wall Researcher
2) Data and Web Communication Specialist
3) Interpretive Panel Designer and Fabricator(s)

In addition, we are looking for volunteers to participate in our
biodiversity study of the green wall this summer/fall (between June
30th and Nov. 1) to observe and record bird and insect use on the
planted wall and/or scan our on-site video camera footage and record
avian use. Volunteers will attend a 30 minute training session and be
supplied with binoculars and an illustrated field guide. We are
monitoring in the field from sunrise to sunset and so are highly
flexible with volunteer times. If you are interested in researching
green walls and have some  time this summer, this position is for you!
