Form my project I attempted to identify ways to engage high school students in the UW Arboretum’s GROW gardening project. This included conducting a survey for high school students to indicate their motivators for participating or not participating in the gardening project with the ambition of building support for future years of the GROW program. I used this internship as a case study to assess the significance and implications of ad-hoc environmental education programs in schools.
