A science love story! Stacey Solie, instructor for ENVIR 500 Environmental Science Writing for Impact, authored a lovely story for the New York Times on the lighter side of science. Stacey is a Seattle-based freelance writer. She has written for the Seattle Times and the New York Times. Click here to read the full story.

If you are interested in improving your science writing, check out Stacey’s fall course. The course aims to transform writing anxieties into excitement, and to help science students learn how to write with impact about topics in their field.
