A New Way of Approaching Wilderness

I worked with Seattle Neighborhood Greenways as their standards and evaluation intern, collecting user experience feedback on streets for safety and comfort of people. This information is critical to identify and raise awareness to create safer neighborhood streets. I conducted an online survey that was distributed via social media and emails reaching out to all those living and/or working in Seattle. I focused on how vehicle exhaust impacted human health to encourage a shift towards active transportation – walking and biking – in hopes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
