During my internship I assisted with the youth art program and garden classes at the Yesler Community Center. I worked with kids ranging in age from 5-18 years old. I created a (five-lesson) curriculum combining art and environmental themes; one of these lessons I taught to the students. I also came up with a redesign proposal for the classroom space using sustainable methods.
