Programs that make food available for those with low incomes, are not always promoted by organizations that work with those same low income people. During my project, I interned at the Carnation Farmers Market. I was in charge of running the Fresh Bucks program, a program that gives additional money to low income shoppers at the market. I then conducted research, through an online survey, of different food access organizations around King County. Through this survey I was able to assess how well the Fresh Bucks Program was being promoted to the clients of these food access organizations.
