For my project I worked as an environmental educator for the West Seattle YMCA Outdoor Camp centered at Lincoln Park. I created weekly lesson plans and carried them out with children in grades 1st&2nd and 3rd&4th. I was interested in environmental education programs and the many benefits they bring to communities and students, so I did research on the benefits communities receive from participating in environmental education (EE) programs.
