During my project I investigated trends in stormwater runoff management nationally, and used Seattle, Washington as a case study of management and regulation. Nationally, I examined the Federal regulatory apparatus as administered by the EPA through the Clean Water Act. Locally, I examined how the City of Seattle, through Seattle Public Utilities, and King County met its stormwater management goals, specifically looking at their application of green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) through various projects and programs, as well as incorporating it into a broader, comprehensive plan.
