During my project, I worked cooperatively with two other University of Washington students to develop and implement a riparian restoration plan in the Lower Snoqualmie Valley under the guidance of Stewardship Partners, a non-profit organization. In addition to gaining firsthand restoration experience in the field,
I was interested in researching the limitations and constraints that restorationists face during the process of restoration development. In coupling my firsthand experience with information in a variety of publications, I was able to analyze the current constraints that hinder restoration goal creation and develop my own suggestions for future restoration processes.
