My project was to research the effects of ocean acidification on marine organisms native to Puget Sound. My research focused on the Pacific Geoduck Clam and its survival in high and low pH water at early life stages. Over the course of our experiments we collected data on survival and growth, and then compared treatments using statistical analysis. I also had the chance to travel aboard NOAA vessels and aid in the collection and measurement of marine fauna from Puget Sound.
