For my capstone project, I worked as an intern at the University District P-Patch Community Garden. As an intern, I helped to maintain the P-Patch’s Food Bank “Giving Garden,” which donates its produce to the local food bank. In addition to this, I conducted a research analysis on the impacts of community gardens on community food security and food sovereignty.
