This study found ways to improve the accountability of grant funded sustainability projects, using the Green Seed Fund (GSF) as a case study. After interviewing past project teams that were funded by the GSF about their projects, their experience with the GSF, and their plans for the future, I identified three categories that projects fell under: investigative research, education and infrastructure. Using insights from the interviews of project teams and independent academic research, I then formulated recommendations related to how the fund can hold each type of project accountable through the application and reporting process.
