We worked for King County Wastewater Treatment Division on a project to identify suitable areas for green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) in Seattle. Our time was spent in the field collecting data to be used for geographic information system (GIS) analysis. The areas examined for the feasibility survey were located within several of Seattle’s communities; Greenlake, South Park, and Montlake. In addition, we spent a significant amount of time educating and informing urban communities about GSI with the intent that it would provide valuable information to help guide public outreach efforts of future GSI projects.
