My project involved the task of identifying the differences in the levels of knowledge, perception, and concern that students of UW had on climate change based on their education field (major). The inspiration for this project came from my Capstone internship with the EPA in which I had the task of creating powerpoint presentation to inform the audience of current climate change issues as well as future risks to the EPA staff and for various Native American Tribes in Alaska. With education being a strong priority amongst government agency who deal with climate change related issues, I looked into how higher institutes of education, such as UW, dealt with climate change topics to their students.
