During my project, I worked in Lincoln Park in West Seattle, restoring a selected area of urban forest, as part of the Green Seattle Partnership’s goal of restoring 2,500 acres of urban forest by 2024. Because urban forest cannot be maintained without a very committed stewardship community, I became interested in researching the environmental psychology behind stewardship involvement.
