I evaluated and restored a 1200-square foot plot of forest in Lincoln Park, West Seattle. I worked with Friends of Lincoln Park and the Green Seattle Partnership to identify and remove invasive species, plant native plants that fit the habitat, and monitor changes in the site over time. Additionally, I surveyed community members about different barriers to volunteering for restoration, and analyzed their responses to inform volunteer outreach strategies in the park.
