For my project, I researched historical floods and storms of Puget Sound’s rivers and the damages they caused. Specifically, I focused on economic damages suffered near the rivers’ deltas. I was interested to see if economic damages suffered near the deltas were increasing over time due to rising sea levels and changes in river stream flow patterns.
