Ocean acidification (OA) is a climate change issue, that has been linked to anthropogenic CO2 in the atmosphere. When discussing OA or any climate based science, people are often overwhelmed with information and are not able to fully digest all of it. For my capstone project I researched unconventional organizations that have the capacity to aid the Marine Resource Advisory Council (MRAC) in OA research and education. I then customized a strategic action plan for each organization. My analysis paper will include various climate change communication and message framing techniques I discovered via attending workshops and conducting scholarly literature review.
