For my project, I worked at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center (MSEEC). While I was there, I worked on curriculum development that ensured the programs offered at MSEEC were not only engaging for students, but also were relevant to what students were learning in class. To do this, I worked on aligning the programs at MSEEC with WA State Science and Environmental and Sustainability Education (ESE) learning standards. This included a spending time reviewing programs at MSEEC and doing a literature review.
