During my project, I worked as an Individualized Trip Planner for UW Transportation Services. I created personalized commute plans using mapping tools, trip planners, and personal knowledge. UW affiliates sent in their requests through our online portal and I would reach out to the customers through in person, phone, or emailing. What I was interested in was finding the obstacles to finding a good commute and how these obstacles influence individual choices in commuting? Customers were also prompted to take a survey following 90 days after requesting the personalized commute plan. This data was used to answer my questions.
