Invasive species are a threat to ecosystems worldwide. In an effort to help spread awareness of invasive species, I worked with Washington Sea Grant and the Olden Research Lab to create a factsheet detailing information on invasive crayfish. The factsheet is part of an invasive species workbook that includes student activities and quizzes that will be used in K-12 education. By educating students about the risks that invasive species pose to the environment, we hope to reduce the rate of their introduction in the Pacific Northwest.
