Are you considering a career in teaching but want to gain practical experience? If you said yes to any of these questions then you need to look into CLUE.

CLUE is looking to hire qualified tutors in a variety of subjects for the 2013-2014 school year. Most positions work between 4-10 hours a week and the pay ranges from $13 to $17 dollars based on education.

Applying to grad schools? The CLUE Writing Center will be conducting a statement of purpose workshop that targets graduate school applications this Wednesday, January 30th at 7:00PM in Mary Gates Hall 288.

CLUE will review all necessary information regarding the statement of purpose, including structure, relevant content, and appropriate tone. CLUE Writing Center tutors will be on-hand to assist participants with any specific questions, so please feel free to bring any materials that correlate to your own application.

CLUE is a free late-night, multidisciplinary study center housed in the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs at the University of Washington. Fundamental to CLUE’s success are its state-of-the-art location in Mary Gates Hall, convenient evening hours, and the employment of current and recently graduated UW students and graduate students.

 

Our mission is to provide high level academic support for the full range of UW undergraduates, from those who are under-prepared to those who are advanced. The Center brings students who might not otherwise interact academically and socially into learning communities with shared academic goals.
