During my project, I worked at the Doty Lab, a plant microbiology lab, to extract endophytes, or beneficial bacteria living inside of plants, from marine estuary plants. Along with identifying the strains and testing their tolerance to salt, I also tested them on crop plants to see if they improve plant tolerance to salt stress.
