Many farmers face difficulties attending their local farmers markets due to time and money constraints. My project was to implement a co-op booth to see whether it could overcome these obstacles. A co-op booth is a single stall at a market consisting of multiple local farmers products run by a volunteer. I set up and operated this stall then surveyed the market patrons to identify whether they felt they received an adequate experience with a third-party seller and interviewed the participating vendors on their time spent helping to pilot this co-op booth.
