The peer review process allows the world to advance, but in way where information can be deemed reliable, due to checks made on verifying research and findings, and related publishing, before being deemed appropriate to be considered as new contributions to the field of scholar- ship that reach to society as a whole. During this intern experience, I served as the assistant to the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Ecopsychology. Throughout my time with the journal, I was responsible for inviting and assigning peer reviewers to peer review manuscript submissions.
