My project combined experiential learning and a review of existing research to explore the field of environmental communication. Working with the campus Sustainability Office as their Climate Action Plan communication intern, I undertook various projects to promote sustainable behav- iors and environmental awareness. Some highlights include my work creating promotional items, information- al tools, a campus-wide email, and collaboration on poster design. My work inspired me to research barriers and solutions to communication of climate action and sustain- ability. I used my findings to improve my project direction and success as well as compile a list of successful strategies that can be applied to climate communication on other campuses.
