My project consisted of an internship with American Farmland Trust to research “who’s who” in the local food movement in the Puget Sound region. I was interested in mapping the infrastructure of the movement by describ- ing organizations and groups whose work strengthens the local food economy. I worked closely with my mentor Dennis Canty to communicate with these groups and research the larger scope of local food in our region. This information can be helpful when using strategic planning to ensure food security for the future.
