During my internship at Stillwaters Environmental Education Center I designed five informational posters that will be used during education and outreach events. These posters outlined Stillwaters values and goals, restoration projects and methods, monitoring projects and volunteer opportunities, current Stillwaters questions and hypotheses, and local wildlife found in the Carpenter Creek Estuary. During this experience I also researched effective environmental communication methods to portray information. I found that for environmental communication to be effective one’s information must appeal to the target audience and the intended environmental goals.
