I identified renewable energy projects under development in the Pacific Northwest Region. I then mapped these renewable energy projects using Google Maps, marking sites by states and provinces and publishing this map on a website for use by the private and public sectors. During the second portion of the project, I worked with the Arctic Caucus working group at the Pacific Northwest Economic Region to understand regional and sector issues going on in the Arctic Region. I used PNWER’s institutional model and applied it to indigenous peoples’ diplomatic efforts in the Russian North to ensure a sustainable socio-economic development.
