Working with the People for Puget Sound (PPS), we assisted in the creation of eleven fact sheets and one YouTube video about environmental sites. Using these outreach materials as the basis for a study, we designed an experiment to more effectively understand how the general public responds to the different formats. Our research focused on environmental outreach to indicate the usefulness of technology in the attempt to increase individuals’ willingness-to-act (WTA), which is an important driving force resulting in pro-environmental behavior.
