During my project, I worked under the jurisdiction of the Environmental Protection Agency to create an erosion resources workbook for tribal governments. I compiled information on available federal and state funding oppor- tunities and erosion assistance programs into one concise document that will be utilized when indigenous communi- ties in Region 10 are in need of erosion mitigation or assistance with relocation. The workbook will be publicly available for widespread view and use, specifically for tribal governments. From this research I attempted to extract the common barriers tribal governments encounter when applying for state and federal erosion assistance and funding programs.
