Educating Legislators to Enhance State Energy Policies: The Legislative Energy Horizon Institute

For my project I helped to organize a conference in Washington DC to educate Northwest legislators on energy issues and give them insight on the future of energy policy. My job included calling participants, preparing documents for the conference, and research recent state energy polices. I also analyzed the important role state legislators play in the formation of energy policy as well as created a pamphlet on greenhouse gas emissions that was used for conference material.
