During my project while working alongside Dale Becker I assisted the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in increasing the efficiency of the EPA’s role in disaster responses specifically Stafford Act responses. We conducted case studies in order to provide a background to the material. We also collected nationwide data of several variables from Stafford responses so we could conclude if there was any correlation between data collected during the initial phases of disaster responses and the final data submitted after completion.
