During the course of my internship, I conducted research regarding the economic value of bivalve shellfish and associated ecosystem services. The research was compiled to supplement the Natural Capital Project’s existing InVEST tools. The research experiences from the internship are then used to reinforce my own conclusions of how economic valuation of ecosystem services can improve sustainability and how the accessibility of economic valuation data can be improved.
