For my project, I researched Paccar Hall on the University of Washington in terms of how the utilities work within the building and created infographics on Adobe Illustrator. The purpose of this project is to encourage the engagement with Paccar Hall and thereby promote more sustainable behaviors within the building. During my project, I was interested in how visual arts can promote sustainable behaviors within buildings. By conducting pilot surveys and academic research, I found a correlation between information about Paccar Hall and sustainable behaviors in the building. The engagement with the building is a key factor for this correlation.
