For my project, I worked with Ballard Bee Company (BBC), an urban beekeeping company based in Seattle, to develop educational materials on honeybees. The pamphlet I produced had several important facts about honeybees, beekeeping, and the benefits of keeping bees in urban areas. I also interviewed several of BBC’s current hosts as a way to document the hosting process and to get an idea about what it is like to keep bees in a residential neighborhood. I used this information to compile a FAQ page for the BBC website to help guide prospective customers in their decision-making process.
