Sustainable Agriculture – Fertilizing Soil with Organic Fertilizers to Improve Productivity

For my capstone project, I worked at the UW Farm as a student farmer. My main research focus is the environmental impact of synthetic fertilizer and the possible solution to this problem. During my research, I discovered the benefits of organic fertilizer and its potential to be used as an alternative to synthetic fertilizer. In order to complete my findings, I decided to conduct a fertilization project to determine the viability of organic fertilizer, and more importantly a proper application method to maximize productivity.
