This project was a look into how the University of Washing- ton and other institutions calculate their carbon impacts based on professional air travel. I contacted faculty members at UW and other schools in order to determine how our university compares in both the methods for calculating and the total overall climate impact from professional air travel. The results from this project will be the foundation for a keystone group of graduate students that will take over the research in the fall of 2015.
