This is a seminar, discussion-based course for graduate students in the sciences that focuses on effective techniques for sharing scientific research with non-specialists.

Background:
The King County Solid Waste Division plans, develops and implements a variety of waste reduction and recycling programs that target residents, businesses and schools.
Share your enthusiasm for science by serving as a Science Fair mentor for students at Bryant Elementary School! Mentors work with a group of 4-5 students, (4th and 5th graders) to design and carry out their scientific investigations.
