Job Title:                      Sustainability Social Media Intern
Department:               Sport Operations
Position Description
The University of Washington Sport Operations department is currently recruiting to fill the position of Sustainability Intern.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Promote sustainability via social media platforms
Build a social media following
Strategically display sustainability Facebook posts
Display creative and concise Twitter messages
Cover ‘Green Game’ events to promote sustainability

Required Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience with multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter)
Creativity and ability to convey messages to social media followers
Passion for promoting sustainability
Previous experience with athletics events

Position Description:
The EcoReps coordinator will work in partnership with the ESS Sustainability Programs Supervisor to organize and expand the University-wide EcoReps program.

2014 Environmental Leadership Scholarship recipient Sophia Winkler-Schor traveled to the Peruvian Amazon for her Capstone Project this past summer. 

The PNW Resilience Challenge is a proposed 3-year initiative aimed at accelerating the ability of our urban areas in the Puget Sound Region to respond to disruptive events. A primary focus of the initiative is fostering cross-sector information exchange and collaborative action toward high priority goals. 

Beginning this week (Friday, August 29), the UW Farm will be partnering with UW Transportation Services to set up a weekly farm stand on the Burke Gilman trail on Fridays 3-5:30pm.
