The Habitat Biologist is a stand alone classification distinguished by responsibilities for habitat restoration. This is an FLSA non-exempt classification, distinguished from higher level professional FLSA exempt classifications by their greater responsibility to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices, by their authority to commit the employer in matters of significant financial impact, or by their greater consultation role in advising management in strategic business planning.

In addition to T/TH class session, students MUST also attend 6 “Future of Ice” evening lectures that meet on various dates (see schedule below). 

Join the PoE Community by experiencing the outdoors in the form of going for a run.  All levels are welcome and everyone is encouraged to participate.  This group will meet every Tuesday night at 5:15 and will continue until there is no longer interest in the group!   

Cascadia Consulting Group seeks individuals who would like to be part of Cascadia’s on-call roster of fieldworkers who will support our research and outreach projects. Fieldwork occurs occasionally throughout the year, may have flexible hours, or may have designated hours including weekends and evenings, and typically involves short but intensive periods of work.
