The Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team (COASST) is seeking undergraduate interns for the Spring quarter. Students can obtain 2-3 college credits through COASST. Each credit requires 4 hours of work per week.

Job Title: Field Technicians/Botanists (2 positions)
Location: Morgantown, WV
Time Period: Mid-May to the end of August 2014
Duties: The selected persons will assist with three studies. The first study is a large greenhouse, common garden, and growth chamber competition study involving Ailanthus altissima and two native species.

Earthwatch is seeking an organized and adaptable individual, with experience in coordinating programs and a solid understanding of science. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting Program Managers in the creation and delivery of programs, especially all aspects of preparing participants for their expeditions.

A comprehensive course on watershed restoration where students will learn how to
assess ecosystem conditions
identify watershed restoration opportunities
prioritize restoration actions
develop watershed restoration plans
monitor and evaluate restoration actions
Two required field trips: April 12 and May 3
Prereqs: either BIOL 356, ESRM 304, or FISH 312.
